Families have priority boarding to get on the plane and sitting down first, children meals are served first and also have activity packs. This is good for families travelling because the children can get comfy on the flight and get the stuff out that will keep them occupied for the nine hour flight. Both Virgin Atlantic and British Airways offer activity packs for the children.
British Airways offer two high classes on the plane which appeals to more older passengers, business travellers and couples as they have more comfy seats and there is less change of children to be in them classes letting them have a peaceful and relaxing flight.
Gap year travellers will have more availability of flight times and may want a cheaper flight so will choose to do a non direct flight which means they will have to choose a different airline as neither British Airways and Virgin Atlantic fly non direct.
Business travellers, couples, people visiting friends and family visitors and other travellers may prefer to fly with British Airways because not many families fly with BA as they find Virgin Atlantic offer better deals and suit their needs

Climate
In the spring, the daytime temperate is around 70-80 and in the evenings it is around 50-60's.
In the summer, daytime temperature is around the low 90's with afternoon showers happening daily and then in the evening it cools down to around 70's

The spring and winter weather is ideal for families and gap year travellers as it is a nice temperature in the day time for walking around the theme parks, spending time at the beach and exploring the sites. Summer weather is the worst because of the unpredictability of how long the rain showers will last. The high humidity and sticky weather makes it unbearable for the children to be out in and the sudden change might be annoying whilst out at a theme park
